Inspection & quality Core
Inspections, ITPs & Hold Points
The central record of every inspection — with hold and witness points that gate the work that follows.
Capabilities
- Inspections filled against an asset from a pinned template revision
- ITP hold points that block downstream tasks until released
- Multi-step review chain with role-based sign-off and client approval
- Recurring inspections triggered by calendar, certificate expiry or issues
Inspections are the flagship of Project AIP. Every inspection is filled in against a specific asset using a frozen template revision, so the record always shows exactly what was asked and answered.
Inspection test plans (ITPs) and RFIs are inspection types whose hold points gate downstream work until they are formally released. Records move through a full review chain with permissions at every step, can require client sign-off, and can be scheduled with inspectors and customers notified automatically.
What teams get
- Hold, witness and surveillance points that behave the way contracts expect
- Failed steps that link straight to an NCR and re-inspection
- Coverage and backlog views showing what is done, pending and overdue
